This Privacy Policy explains how the "Smart Study Assistant" application ("we," "us," or "the App") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use our application. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Google Play’s 2026 Developer Policies.

1. Information We Collect and Why

A. Device Permissions (Sensitive Access)

To provide our core educational services, we require access to the following:

Camera: Required to capture images of study problems or text for processing. We do not store these images permanently on our servers unless you explicitly save them.
Microphone/Audio: Required to capture voice queries for the smart assistant. This data is used only to convert speech to text for study assistance.

B. Authentication (via Google Firebase)

Username & Email: Collected to create your unique account and sync your data across devices.
UID: An anonymous identifier used to manage your specific app settings.

C. Database Information (Firestore)

Free Trial Tracking: We store the date of your first sign-in to manage your 3-day free trial.
AI Query Logs: Queries are processed through AI models (e.g., Google Gemini) to provide accurate study answers. These are stored anonymously to improve service accuracy.

2. Subscription and Payments

The App offers a 3-day free trial. After the trial period, subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Billing System. We do not store your credit card information on our servers; all transactions are secured by Google.

3. Data Deletion Rights (Mandatory)

In compliance with modern privacy standards, you have the absolute right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can initiate a deletion request by emailing us at gmn.support@gmail.com. Upon request, all your data (Email, UID, and Logs) will be permanently erased from our Firebase and Firestore servers within 30 days.

4. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with service providers like Google Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting and AI processing purposes. We implement industry-standard security to protect your information.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 without parental supervision.
